We’re excited to share our experience at the 2023 kanthari.org/spreadthespice festival, held from October 13th to 15th at Jawahar Balabhavan, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. We focused on challenges faced by children with albinism, such as neglect by parents, bullying, and discrimination. Through fun and interactive activities, we showed ways to create a more inclusive world for these children. The event brought together over 25 passionate changemakers from 12 countries, including Cameroon, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe. They shared creative solutions and had meaningful discussions to make a positive difference.

2. Promote Inclusion:
3. Develope life skills

Exposure Trips 2024
Our exposure trip is designed to inspire and empower children and youth with and without albinism by providing them with the opportunity to explore new environments, learn from real-world experiences, and connect with role models in various fields.
Through this initiative, participants gain valuable insights, broaden their horizons, and develop a deeper appreciation for diversity and inclusion. 2024 International Albinism Awareness Day
On June 13, 2024, we celebrated International Albinism Awareness Day with the theme "Inclusion is Strength." This special day reminded everyone that people with albinism have the right to live free from discrimination and to enjoy equal opportunities.
Our event brought together people with and without albinism to learn, share, and celebrate. We organized activities like awareness talks, creative performances, and interactive sessions to teach about albinism, promote inclusion, and build stronger connections in our community.
By standing together, we showed that inclusion truly makes us stronger.
